June 3rd, 2023, 5-8 pm Drake's Hamburg, Lexington

Our first meeting was a meet-and-greet networking event on Saturday June 3rd from 5-8 pm at Drake's Hamburg location in Lexington (https://drakescomeplay.com/drakes-hamburg/). We had happy hour from 5-6 pm followed by dinner from 6-8 pm. The cost for drinks and meals for members was covered by the Section. The event was well-attended by members from both academia and industry. We were so excited to interact with everyone that we forgot to take pictures!
